We are nearly 1 month into our pilot line build. Here is an update on where we are:
- Aluminium 2020 and 4040 frame is on site and we have started assembly
- CMYK acid inks are here and we have started experimenting with conditions to combine colours.
- Winding units are en-route and expected mid-July
- Tensioners and guides are on order.
Many challenges already. The summer heat has been an issue for storage of inks and currently are kept in the darkest coolest corner of the workshop.
Next steps:
First run at rate trials expected mid-July.
